Today I woke up around 12. For breakfast my dad made me a blueberry smoothie, which tasted decent. After that I called up a buddy of mine to swing by my place so that we could gather some supplies for a small get together with friends we planned to have later in the evening. We bought some small chocolate cakes, river bitter lemon, chips, and some dip. Afterwards we went to my place, hung around for a bit and headed out to have our get together; all went fine and dandy.
Later we went back to my place and watched some dumb late-night television programs. There was this horror low-budget short film which we tuned into halfway which depicted some kid planting something -I don’t know, like a tooth or maybe a small bone, into the ground and following the next couple of days the tooth or watchamecallit grew into some kind of living human-plant hybrid being. Then the kid tries to cut one of the roots he’s connected to and when he does so the plant-guy starts screaming in agony, but then he just starts speaking fluent Italian out of nowhere, which made no sense at all. I have a feeling that the film crew told him to spout out some random gibberish so that they could portray that he was talking in some kind of undiscovered plant-language, but the guy just couldn’t be bothered with taking the time to make up some believable-sounding sentences in a made up language so he just decided to speak Italian all the way through hoping that no one would notice, and that the people who’d see the film wouldn’t have any knowledge regarding the existance of the Italian language; which is hilarious. It’s just so comically dumb how they did this, it seemed like they were trying to convey the idea that somehow all plants have a shared-knowledge of the Italian language and use it to communicate. Haha that’d be hilarious.
But then blahdy blahdy blah some weird plant-wendigos show up and try to eat the child but then the plant-guy sacrifices himself to save the kid; all and all, just a weird ending.
Afterwards we had some pizza; I had mozzarella with tomatoes an olives. And that’s all for today, Godspeed.
